Support structures and care options for older people.

Various studies show that older people want to remain living in their own municipality for as long as possible. However, everyday life is becoming increasingly difficult due to conditions that are not adapted to the needs of older people.

Many households lack barrier-free living spaces or have limited mobility, which leads to dependency and a lack of independence. Services such as assisted living are unable to meet the care and service requirements of residents. Some people would also like to live in a community in order to support each other and prevent loneliness. 

The project aims to create housing models with innovative care options for older people in order to meet care and service needs.
